What does ISO-SEC stand for?

In the summer of the year 2017, a new brand in further education was created. It is the continuation of the multimillion-dollar referenced Kingston International Group GmbH or KIG as is known. KIG is a top security consulting and security management company, with very serious references, like projects within the Olympic Games, Nuclear Power Plants, Airports, Seaports, Border Protection via Satellites (SAR Imagery), Central Banks, Cities and Villages, and many more. Between its specializations was also the training of the operators and more.

In 2017, the Board Of Directors of the KIG decided to proceed and create a Further Education School, with some unique features:

1. Must put “under the same roof” all programs around security, law enforcement, intelligence, forensics, investigations, emergency management, First Person On Scene, and many more. This will give options to our attendees to get education that you can find on other specializations, and apply the specific knowledge to their profession.
2. As our President says: “Our pricing must be the lowest possible, offering the best possible quality at the same time”. And continues: “Security Studies aren’t for rich people. Rich people studying Business Management and Economics. Security Studies are chosen by the Security and the Police Officers. These people need it the most and these are the ones who aren’t able to afford high-quality education. So, we need to keep our profits very low, or better to not start it at all”.
3. All our programs must be “puzzle pieces”. This means that if someone chooses to take ISO-SEC courses (even randomly), in the end, must be able to combine the specific knowledge of all these courses and get a specialisation diploma. For example, a Body Language course can be taken by Security Officers, by Police Officers, and even by Judges and DAs. If these people take also other courses in their area, it is possible for the Intelligence Analyst to get a CINTA Diploma, for the Police Officer to get a Crime Analyst’s Diploma, etc. Like this, no time or money will be lost by our students.
4. Most of our Specialization Programs must offer options for Academic Upgrades. Since the 1st of January 2024, ISO-SEC’s Academic Programs will be a reality. Hopefully, our Academic admissions will start in November 2023, with the Master of Science (MSc.) in Security Management. Soon will follow many top and unique academic programs, so bear with us.

Then in the summer of 2017, we decided to finalise with the foundation of the International Security Organization – ISO KLG. This brand expresses completely the mission we have. Then we realized that by calling ourselves ISO, it is possible to mislead the people and make them believe that we are the International Organisation for Standardisation (the creators of the ISO9001, etc. quality standardization protocols). This may help us sell the first time, but will be unfair to the students to believe that we are something else. Then our President had an idea. To add the 3 first letters of the security (which is the industry we mainly support) and like this ISO-SEC born. ISO-SEC is the acronym of the International Security Organization (ISO) and SEC is for “SECurity”. The impeccable ethics of our President offered a great solution. Unfortunately, impeccable ethics aren’t adopted by all, especially those who stole the ISO-SEC’s name.

But the original is always better than cheap copies with expensive courses because money is their only “mission and ethics”.
